Update 03-Jul-2020: The program is out! Check the invited talks and live panels on the timetable.

An interactive virtual platform is being prepared and will allow participants to watch prerecorded talks, follow the invited talk and poster live sessions, and interact with other participants through chats, video meet-ups and theme-oriented discussions. Interaction can occur at any time through the platform, not only during the live sessions. Virtual booths will also be made available for exhibitors to reach out the community and get in touch with the delegates.

Abstracts are still being accepted and will allow authors to present their work on the poster live sessions.

We are glad to announce that the 9th edition of the International Beam Instrumentation Conference, IBIC 2020, will be held as a virtual event. The live sessions will take place on September 14-18, 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the original event, to be held in Santos, Brazil, will be postponed to 2023. The subsequent editions of the series will take place as originally planned: IBIC 2021 in Korea and IBIC 2022 in Poland.

IBIC brings together the world community of experts in instrumentation for particle accelerators, to explore the physics and engineering challenges and share innovation, for the development of beam diagnostics for charged particle beams.

The program will consist of prerecorded invited talks, live panels with invited speakers, and interactive poster sessions. The traditional JACoW proceedings associated with the conference will be published normally.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we warmly welcome you to make part of IBIC 2020.
