IBIC 2020 will offer a small number of grants to graduate students and young scientists willing to present their work at the conference.
The financial support will waive the conference registration fee as well as provide accommodation and per diem. Applications must be made via e-mail to the Scientific Program Committee (SPC) Chair (daniel.tavares@lnls.br) and must include the following information:
- Full Name
- Age
- Position/title at institute/university
- Area of research/professional activities
- IBIC 2020 abstract (maximum 1200 characters)
Applications must be accompanied by a letter of reference from the applicant's supervisor, or someone in a similar position within the applicant's institute. Selection will be made by the IBIC 2020 SPC.
The deadline for applications is 22 May 2020.
The grants are intended for students who, without financial assistance, would not be able to attend IBIC 2020, so preference will be given to applicants from institutes/countries which offer no other form of support.
The results will be announced by e-mail in early July 2020.
