Poster Preparation

Poster Installation and Removal

Posters will be displayed in Ballroom C of the Whistler Conference Centre.

  • Posters may be mounted beginning Sunday after 3:00 p.m.

  • Presenters are encouraged to install their posters as early as possible after arriving at the conference.

  • Please mount your poster on the board displaying your assigned Paper Code.

  • Posters will remain on display throughout the conference to maximize viewing opportunities.

  • All posters must be removed by Thursday noon. Posters remaining after the published removal time will be removed by Conference staff and discarded.

Poster Board Dimensions

  • Each poster will be displayed on a fabric poster board.

  • Poster board dimensions are:

    • 122 cm (4 feet) wide × 244 cm (8 feet) high

  • Each side of the poster board will accommodate two posters.

Recommended Poster Size and Orientation

  • We recommend preparing and printing your poster in one of the following formats:

    • ISO A0: 84.1 cm × 118.9 cm

    • US Arch E: 36 in × 48 in

  • Posters should be prepared in portrait orientation.

Important:
Please avoid landscape orientation for A0 or Arch E formats. A landscape poster will be too wide for the allocated space and may overlap with the neighbouring poster.

Poster Mounting Materials

  • The Conference Organisers will provide all necessary materials for mounting posters, including tape and other required supplies.

  • Please do not use materials that may damage the poster boards.

Poster Presentation Requirements

  • Presenters are expected to be available at their posters during the scheduled poster sessions to answer questions and discuss their work with conference participants.

The Scientific Program Committee reserves the right to reject publication of papers that have not been properly presented or adequately represented during the poster sessions.

Manuscripts, enlarged copies of papers, or proceedings contributions displayed on poster boards are not considered posters. Papers presented in this manner may not be accepted for publication in the conference proceedings.
