*Students must be enrolled in a program at an institution of higher education to qualify for the student fee.
Additionally, the student must not have defended their PhD. The student must be presenting the talk or poster on behalf of the institution where they are currently enrolled, or were most recently enrolled, and must not have started a postdoctoral position.

**Both options include a bagged lunch to be collected from the Whistler Conference Center at the end of the Conference and transportation to Vancouver.
If you select the Shuttle to TRIUMF and TRIUMF Tour option, you will be shuttled to the TRIUMF facility at UBC in Vancouver and will participate in the tour. If you select the Shuttle Bus to Downtown Vancouver option, you will be transported to downtown Vancouver and will not participate in the TRIUMF tour.
If you would like to join the TRIUMF tour but do not require return transportation to Vancouver, please email ibic2026@triumf.ca to discuss your options.
Please note: transportation is one-way only. The bus will not return to Whistler.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be requested by email to ibic2026@triumf.ca by July 31, 2026 (30 days prior to conference start).
Cancellations received by July 31, 2026 will be provided a full refund to the original payment method, with a $150 CAD deduction for administrative costs.
Cancellations received after July 31, 2026 will result in forfeiture of the entire registration fee. This policy also applies to extra tickets for social functions. Refunds may be granted to no-shows under extenuating circumstances at the sole discretion of the conference organizers.
Early Payments
Eligibility for the early payment registration fee is based on the date the payment is completed, NOT the date the registration is made. To ensure you receive the early registration fee, please complete your payment prior to Friday, June 5th, 2026, 23:59 PDT.
Receipts requiring VAT#:
In the registration process:
- Check the box "Check to include VAT # on the PDF receipt".
- Enter the VAT number in the corresponding field.
- Print the PDF receipt and ensure the address fields reflect your Finance Department. If they do not, return and update the fields with the required information before printing.
