In addition to the JACoW proceedings, it is offered the option to publish extended versions of the workshop contributions, to avoid infringing any copyright rules of the JACoW proceedings, in a special issue of the Radiation detection technology and methods (RDTM).
Peer Review Process
The articles submitted for JACoW proceedings will be subject to a peer-review procedure for RDTM special issue. Papers will be reviewed by referees selected by the IOC members of HB2025. Each paper will be reviewed by two referees. In case of disagreement, the IOC will resolve the issue.
LOC will send the Acceptance Letter to Successful peer-reviewed papers on this November. For those authors, please following the “Submission guideline of RDTM” for further paper preparation.

Submission Guideline of RDTM
The submission of contributions for this special issue will be managed directly via the RDTM web-based submission system.
Note: Please kindly include "HB2025+Your Scientific Program" in the "Comment to the Editor" section during your submission, so we can ensure your article is included in the proceedings.
1. Aims and scope
Radiation Detection Technology and Methods (RDTM) focuses on all aspects of radiation detection technology and methods, including electronics and system design, computer and control techniques, detection technology and methods, data processing and imaging. It presents an attractive mix of authoritative and comprehensive reviews, original articles on cutting-edge research and brief communications. The journal offers rapid review and publication of articles.
RDTM publishes articles that focus on, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Detection technology and methods
- Computer technology applications
- Particle acceleration science and technology
- Electronics and system design
- Synchrotron-radiation based techniques and methods
- Astroparticle technology
- Imaging and radiology
2. Submission
Manuscript submitted to RDTM should be submitted through the web-based submission system at https://www.editorialmanager.com/rdtm/default.aspx.
Original material: Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.
Submission Format: The Editorial Manager system accepts original submissions in doc/docx/PDF/Latex format, but the revised version should be in docx/Latex.
Author list: The author list should be complete and consistent with the original manuscript. If any changes to the authorship are made in the revised version, an authorship change form should be signed by all authors.
3. Preparation of manuscript
The manuscript must conform to the following requirements:
3.1. Title Page: The title page should include: the name(s) of the author(s), a concise and informative title, the affiliation(s) and address(es) of the author(s), the e-mail address, and telephone number(s) of the corresponding author.
3.2. Abstract: Please provide a structured abstract of 150 to 250 words which should be divided into the following sections: Purpose (stating the main purposes and research question), Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
3.3. Keywords: Please provide 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.
3.4. Text Formatting: Use a normal, plain font (e.g., 10-point Times Roman) for text. Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages. Use the table function, not spreadsheets, to make tables. Use the equation editor or MathType for equations.
3.5. Heading: Please use the decimal system of headings with no more than three levels.
3.6. Footnotes: Footnotes to the text are numbered consecutively; those to tables should be indicated by superscript lower-case letters (or asterisks for significance values and other statistical data). Always use footnotes instead of endnotes.
3.7. Scientific style: Please always use internationally accepted signs and symbols for units (SI units). Please use the standard mathematical notation for formulae, symbols etc.
3.8. Data: Authors are strongly encouraged to deposit the data that supports their research in a trusted repository that supports the FAIR principles. It is recommended to choose a repository that specializes in the data for their scientific domain, as this will maximize the probability that the deposited data will be interoperable and reusable. Please note that the selected repository must offer a translation to English in order to comply. Recommended repositories include SCIENCEDB, HEPData, HEPForge, etc. For more information please refer to Journal's Data Policy.
3.9. Acknowledgements: Acknowledgments of people, grants, funds, etc. should be placed in a separate section on the title page. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.
3.10. Conflict of interest: A a declaration of conflicting interests should be included in the manuscript. 3.11. References: Reference citations in the text should be identified by numbers in square brackets. The entries in the list should be numbered consecutively. Always use the standard abbreviation of a journal’s name according to the ISSN List of Title Word Abbreviations. Be sure to provide reference to all plots, tables, scientific statements that are not from the authors' research work. On the other hand, it is not advisable to cite an excessive number of references all at once in the text, always refer to the latest publication unless prior papers must be mentioned in the manuscript.
In the References section of the paper, types of reference should be presented as follows.
