Quick link with Visa-free Entry into China
Effective on 26 May 2025, China continued to implement the optimized visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders covering 47 countries for visits up to 30 days with the purpose of Exchange, Business, Tourist, Visiting families and friends, and Transit needs. Updates on Visa-Free Transit Policy Fully Relaxed
The stay duration for foreign nationals eligible for visa-free transit has been extended from the previous 72 hours and 144 hours to 240 hours (10 days). Individuals from 54 eligible countries, including Russia, Brazil, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Canada, traveling from China to a third country (region), can enter and stay within the allowed areas for visa-free transit travelers for no more than 240 hours.
Prompt reminders:
a) Valid international travel document (within a valid period of at least three months)
b) Interline passenger tickets or other documents with a specified date and seat to a third country (region) within 240 hours
Visa Application Tips
If you may not meet the entry requirements above, we suggest you contact your local embassy or consulate office for full and official instructions on specific visa regulations and application procedures that apply to you. Participants are encouraged to apply for their visa of at least 3 months in advance of the starting date of HB2025 workshop.
※ For the purposes of Exchanges, Visits, F visa is highly recommended for your travel.
