Description
At the CYC2022 conference, IBA presented its new 30 MeV proton accelerator. The first installation of this Cyclone® IKON, with four beam transmission lines and a beam energy of 30 down to 13 MeV, has now successfully been commissioned and is running at a customer site.
In this presentation we will go into the details of the accelerator’s performance, from its injection to its transmission, plus intensity on targets. With the accelerator fully operational, we will also present a comparison of the latest results with the design and commissioning simulations.
