Description

The TRIUMF 520 MeV cyclotron continues to serve as a reliable driver for high intensity proton beams, supporting a broad range of applications. To sustain and enhance high intensity operation, recent developments have focused on reducing beam losses and improving overall reliability. This talk will highlight progress in cyclotron tune optimization and the avoidance of linear coupling resonances to suppress beam spills and reduce component activation.
