Description
Acceleration by the wakefield in the plasma can provide compact sources of relativistic electron bunches of high brightness. Free electron lasers and particle colliders, for using plasma wakefield accelerators, require high efficiency and bunches with low energy spread with stable shape. To achieve these goals one can use profiled sequence of profiled electron bunches. It was shown that triangle bunches excite wakefield with uniform longitudinal distribution. Moreover, our research shows that plateau formation on Ez for driver- and witness-bunches leads to arrangement of bunches in the areas of their high stability, namely in a focusing wakefield, characterized by Fr>0, and derivative ∂zFr>0 is close to maximum throughout the bunch and Fr=0 at its front.
