Description
An IBS module for the python Accelerator Toolbox (pyAT) has been developed and benchmarked with the code MBtrack. The pyAT module has been used to simulate the ESRF EBS storage ring case and the simulations have been compared with measurements. Transverse and longitudinal beam size growth have been measured for different bunch currents using the ESRF pinhole cameras and the streak camera.
The comparison between measurements and simulations are shown in this paper.
