Description

A 4.76GHz cavity-based Beam Acquisition Monitor (BAM) has been developed, integrating a digital processing system using the RFSoC chip, which combines a multi-core ARM processor, FPGA, and high-speed analog-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analog converters (DAC) on a single platform. This system operates in pulsed mode and is synchronized with an external trigger for enhanced data accuracy. We will report the experimental results obtained at the UCLA beamline, detailing the experimental setup, calibration procedures, and the data acquisition chain employed.
