Description
MAX IV is engaged in the design of a major upgrade to its 3 GeV ring, called MAX4U. The upgrade aims at an improvement in light source performance to maintain MAXIV’s competitive edge beyond the end of this decade. In this contribution, we report on the studies regarding transverse and longitudinal collective effects considering the parameters of lattice candidates for MAX4U.
