Description

The Electron Ion Collider Hadron Storage Ring is design with using the arcs of the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider arcs and four of the six straight sections with minor alterations. The other two straight sections will be rebuilt where the transition jump quadrupoles of the straight section will be moved or removed. A series of experiments to understand the effect from transition crossing with fewer jump quadrupoles was performed. This paper shows the results from the experiment.
