Description
The High Energy Photon Source is the first fourth-generation synchrotron radiation light source of China. Its accelerator complex consists of a 500 MeV Linac, a full-energy booster, a 6 GeV storage ring, and three transfer lines. The booster began supplying beam to the storage ring in late July 2024. This paper presents an overview of the improvements made, the challenges encountered, and their respective solutions.
