Description

The Hefei Advanced Light Facility (HALF), a soft X-ray and VUV diffraction-limited storage ring light source, started construction in 2023. The HALF storage ring consists of 20 identical cells, each with one long and one short straight section. This paper describes the optimization and update of the physics design for the HALF storage ring in the past two years.
