Description
This paper shows a klystron simulation of the 805 MHz Klystron used at LANSCE. The klystron tube is rated for 1.25 MW output and has gain of 50 dB. The simulation is carried out with analytical calculation, followed by KlyC, and CST. The paper concludes with a comparison of the results obtained via the different methods and the assumptions used to carry each of the calculations.
