Description
As the successor of ELBE, DALI will be an international user facility, designed to comprise versatile radiation sources from the mid-IR to the THz range as well as a powerful pulsed positron source. DALI will utilize the proven superconducting CW RF technology developed over 2 decades at ELBE. While the capability to provide continuous high-repetition rate narrow-bandwidth IR radiation from an oscillator FEL will be kept, most of the radiation sources will be optimized for high-field short-pulse applications. An overview of the planned radiation sources, their designs and capabilities will be given in this contribution.
