Description
We extend previous optics-tuning simulations for the electron–positron Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee) at the Z energy (45.6 GeV) to the W energy mode (80 GeV) using newly developed Python-based tools originally developed for light-source commissioning. These tools implement a detailed sequence of tuning steps and include a nearly complete set of machine errors, bringing the FCC-ee tuning simulations closer to realistic operation scenarios. The FCC-ee, designed to operate at four beam energies—45.6 GeV, 80 GeV, 100 GeV, and 182.5 GeV—aims for high luminosity and ultra-low emittance, making the machine highly sensitive to magnet-field and alignment errors. The tuning simulations has been conducted to both the Global Hybrid Correction (GHC) and Local Chromaticity Correction (LCC) optics configurations.
