Description
This contribution summarizes recent developments in slow extraction studies at the MedAustron center for ion beam therapy and research. In particular studies concerning radio frequency knock-out (RFKO) and phase displacement extraction (PDE) are presented. The experimental RFKO studies employ a new signal generator system based on a micro-telecommunication architecture.
