Description
We present simulation studies on the buildup of the electron cloud in the Super Tau-Charm Facility (STCF), considering the effects of key accelerator components and parameters. These include the solenoid, dipole, quadrupole, and sextupole magnetic fields, the presence of an antechamber, and the properties of chamber wall coatings. A preliminary estimate of the instability threshold for the electron cloud density around the beam center is provided. This study offers an initial assessment and a foundational understanding for evaluating and mitigating electron cloud effects in the STCF.
