Description

The ultra-high brightness characteristic of the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS) imposes stringent requirements on the accuracy of beam optical parameters. Beam orbit distortion and optical function deviation are prone to degrade the beam quality. This paper presents the relevant details of orbit correction and optics calibration during the beam optics calibration process of HEPS. In the optics calibration, the correction method based on the sextupole Mover has achieved fine-grained regulation of optical parameters, which is verified by experiments. After calibration, the beam Beta beating is reduced to approximately 2%, the dispersion deviation is controlled within 2 mm, and the beam emittance is stabilized below 60 pm·rad. All core optical parameters meet the design indicators of HEPS.
