Description

The Hefei Advanced Light Facility (HALF) is a fourth-generation light source under construction. Due to space limits in its injection straight, a three-kicker injection scheme is planned. We have consequently developed and completed prototypes of the kickers and their pulse power supply, include a sepical dual-channel kicker. This paper reports on the progress of the HALF injection system and introduces an offline measurement scheme to assess closed-orbit errors in the localed bumped injection system. Measurements show the dual-channel kicker scheme achieves a closed-orbit error of about ±1%, fulfilling the design targets.
