Description

Following the design, prototyping and production of the first of series, the new 648 magnets for Elettra 2.0 were manufactured and delivered to Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste for characterisation and installation.
This article reports on the final design of each magnet family and the results of the related magnetic measurements currently still underway at Elettra, in a new magnetic measurement laboratory built specifically for this purpose.
