Description
Accurate lattice-optics correction is essential for achieving the design performance of modern light sources and future colliders targeting ultra-low emittances. Such machines rely on strong magnets that are highly sensitive to field and alignment errors. In this work, we investigate approaches for the correction of the linear optics of several accelerators, including PETRA IV, SOLEIL II, ESRF-EBS and FCC-ee. The study includes selecting appropriate correction steps, defining the fitted parameters, and designing optics correction schemes tailored to the characteristics of each accelerator.
