Description

The Southern Advanced Photon Source (SAPS) is a 3.5 GeV, kilometer-scale, ultra-low emittance storage ring to be built next to the CSNS (China Spallation Neutron Source) in Guangdong Dongguan, China. A lattice design of storage ring was proposed, consisting of 32 modified hybrid 7BAs, and having a natural emittance of 26.3 pm·rad and a circumference of ~810 m. In this paper, a candidate lattice design will be introduced.
