The city of Chicago is fortunate to be well-served by two major airports: O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport.

Ground transport from O'Hare to Conference Hotel
Ground transportation options include public transport, taxis, rideshare services and car rentals.
Blue line trains depart from O'Hare International Airport Terminal towards the Loop. Disembark the train at Jackson station, and then walk 500 feet (160 meters) to Palmer House Hilton. An 'L' train ticket is $5.00 at full fare for single trips leaving from O'Hare airport. More information and fare information is available at the Chicago Transit Authority. [Tip: Use an unlimited pass (also $5) to board at O'Hare for no additional charge. Unlimited Pass grants unlimited rides for a period of time from first use. 1-Day = 24 hrs, etc. Valid on CTA (trains) and Pace (buses).]
Multiple taxi services are available. A taxi with American Taxi from O'Hare to Palmer House Hilton is presently $48 one way (fixed rate). More information is available at American Taxi.
Rideshare services Uber and Lyft are available at O'Hare. Pickup and drop-off locations vary by terminal.
- Terminals 1-4: Look for "Ride App Pick Up" or "Passenger Pick Up" signs after exiting arrivals or baggage claim.
- Terminal 5: Take the Airport Transit System (ATS) from the Skywalk on Level 4 to Terminal 7, then follow signs for Ride App Pick Up to Orange Parking.
- Multi Modal Facility (Economy Lot F): Use the Kiss-N-Fly on the northwest corner of the Multi Modal Facility.
Car rentals are available serving O'Hare airport. Rental car companies are located in the Multi-Modal Facility (Economy Lot F). To get to Economy Lot F from the terminals or reverse, passengers should take the Airport Transit System (ATS).
Ground transport from Midway to Conference Hotel
Ground transportation options include public transport, taxis, rideshare services and car rentals.
Orange line trains depart from Midway International Airport Terminal towards the Loop. Disembark the train at Adams/Wabash station, and then walk 250 feet (80 meters) to Palmer House Hilton. Multiple taxi services are available. A taxi with American Taxi from Midway to Palmer House Hilton is presently $24 one way (fixed rate). More information is available at American Taxi.
Rideshare services including Uber, Lyft, Black Car Everywhere and GO Aiport Express are available at Midway. Passengers should meet their driver downstairs on the arrivals level (near baggage claim). Exit through Door 4, cross the street, and meet your rideshare driver in the center lane.

Planning Your Departure
In order to allow sufficient time for check-in and airport security screening, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) urges all travelers to arrive at the airport two (2) hours before domestic scheduled flight departures and three (3) hours for international flight departures. Travel times to the airports vary widely depending on day of the week, time of day, construction and other factors.
