Description
The Direct Current Current Transformer (DCCT) in the Advanced Photon Source (APS) Storage Ring is used to measure the storage ring current. This measurement is digitized using an HP3458A Multimeter and synchronized with beam injection through the Micro-Research Finland (MRF) event system. This paper describes the setup and timing of the control system for the DCCT, highlighting its integration and functionality within the APS infrastructure.
