Description
X-ray experiments at the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory require rapid analysis and feedback to optimize experimental conditions and maximize data quality. To address this need, the Data Systems team has developed a real-time monitoring and data analysis software tool, facilitating timely decision-making and improving experimental efficiency.
In this talk, we will present the design and capabilities of this software tool, including its intuitive parallelized, flowchart-based user interface and graph-based backend, with an overview of the pre-defined operations that can be combined into full workflows. We will also mention the software's scalability through its use of ZeroMQ (zmq) sockets, as well as its modular design, which enable easy integration of new data formats or functionalities. This flexibility and scalability make the software a valuable resource for x-ray experiments at LCLS, with the potential to improve experimental efficiency and productivity.
