Complex software like SPMS is best learned by following the existing documentation in the Wiki SPMS Manual and trying out tasks yourself, consulting with experts (Christine Petit-Jean-Genaz (CERN, ret.), Todd Satogata (Jefferson Lab)) when you have questions.
