Passport
All foreign nationals entering the Republic of Korea are required to hold a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond their intended departure date.
Visa
Participants are responsible for checking whether a visa is required to enter Korea based on their nationality.
Please note the following: If you require an official invitation letter, select the option during registration. If additional supporting documents are needed, please contact the Secretariat at (linac2026@ibs.re.kr).
As visa processing times may vary, we strongly recommend applying well in advance.
K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)
Travelers from visa-free eligible countries must apply for a K-ETA prior to boarding their flight to Korea. The K-ETA allows short-term stays for tourism, business, or transit purposes (up to 90 days in most cases).
- Application Fee: KRW 10,000 (approx. USD 7–8), non-refundable
- Processing Time: Up to 72 hours (may take longer depending on circumstances)
- Validity: Up to 3 years from approval date (or until passport expiration, whichever comes first)
- Official Website: https://www.k-eta.go.kr/portal/newapply/index.do?locale=EN
- Please apply for your K-ETA at least 72 hours before departure to avoid any delays.
- Approved K-ETA does not guarantee entry; final admission is decided by immigration officers.
- Korea do not authorize K-ETA applications via third-party sites; beware of fraudulent services.
