Description
For the Indian Accelerator Driven System (ADS) program, after gaining experience on low energy front end of the accelerator, comprising of proton ion source, RFQ and DTL, as well as on development of superconducting cavities, there is a plan to develop a Medium Energy High Power linear accelerator (MEHIPA), as phase-1 for the Indian (IADS) accelerator. The speaker will present the project plan and current status of different activities for this project.
