Description

RRCAT has developed the complete infrastructure for forming, machining, electron beam welding, processing and testing of superconducting RF cavities. Recently, the indigenously developed 5-cell, 650 MHz cavity has been tested in the Horizontal Test Stand up to an acceleration gradient of 20 MV/m in CW mode, with all in-house facilities. This facility will be useful for delivering SRF cavities for international projects such as PIP-II at Fermilab, as well as domestic projects such as Indian ADS proton linac. Speaker will present details of all the facilities developed, along with recent results obtained using these facilities.
