Description

The China Spallation Neutron Source upgrade project (CSNS-Ⅱ) uses 24 elliptical cavities in the LINAC section. Every cavity equipment a coaxial type fundamental power coupler with a character impedance of 50 Ohm and fixed coupling antenna. In this paper, the multiphysic design contain the electromagnetic optimization, the multipacting analysis, thermal and stress simulation, et al. will be detailed described. The high power test results of the first batch power couplers are also present.
