Description
The pre-production development of the single-spoke resonator 2 (SSR2) cavity and its associated cryomodule is underway for the superconducting linear accelerator (SCL2) at RAON. This research presents the main design parameters of the SSR2 cavity, along with analyses of the electric and magnetic field distributions. The designs of the frequency tuner and fundamental power coupler are also described. The total heat load of the cryomodule is evaluated, and the overall layout and key design features of the cryomodule are discussed.
