Description
As the driver of the world's first under-construction Accelerator-Driven Subcritical System (ADS), the CIADS linear accelerator adopts an all-superconducting continuous wave (CW) technical route, with a designed beam current of 5 mA and energy of 500 MeV. This report presents the research on two core issues of the CIADS linear accelerator: beam loss and system reliability. It also provides the R&D progress of key hardware systems and the future energy upgrade plan to 1 GeV.
