Description

SPS-II is the fourth generation electron storage ring in Thailand. Medium size ring constructed with Double-Triple Bend Achromat (DTBA) cell provides low emittance and high capacity for beamline. To complement the compact storage ring with DTBA cell, a Non-Linear Kicker (NLK) was chosen for beam injection due to its simplicity and minimal perturbation to the stored beam. In this paper, injection dynamics and optimization will be discussed.
