Description

Synchrotron radiation source has many advanced characteristics such as high brightness, transverse coherence, good time structure, etc, which is developed as one of the most powerful scientific tools over decades. Due to the great performance of radiation based on the light source, it plays an important role in the science researches of quantum materials, catalytic science, bioscience, etc. In this paper, we describe the design of the Jinhua light source (JHLS). JHLS storage ring is a 3rd-generation light source. Its storage ring is a TBA lattice with an energy of 2.6 GeV and a low emittance of 3.88 nm · rad. In general, the actual storage ring deviates from the ideal lattice due to various errors. Those effects would seriously influence the ring dynamics and degrade its performance. To evaluate the practical performance of the lattice with errors and figure out effective corrections, a simulated commissioning is essential. In the paper, details of lattice design and the stimulated commissioning are introduced.
